(To the Editor)
Sir, — Let me congratulate you on the improvement which has been made on the last few issues of the "Hut News." Every week seems to bring an issue better than the last; our paper gets more like a local, and well managed paper than ever it was. The likes of everyone seem to be catered for. The talk on books by "Observer," the bright and interesting articles, Sports Notes and advertisements, all tend to make a very interesting paper. There is only one suggestion I would like to make: why not run a serial story through the paper? However, I leave that to your judgment; perhaps it" would be better without. Just to show how Hutt residents like the 'Hutt News' I will put here the exact words which I heard a lady say to another: "Yes, I quite look forward to the '' Hutt News,'' don't you?" "Yes,'.' replied the other, ' ' I like it very much indeed.'' — am etc., WELL WISHER. [The editor is grateful to "Well Wisher" for his kind remarks.]
