SUCCESSFUL DANCE

Last Tuesday evening in the Moera Community Hall the Black and White Clubs under the direction of Mr. V. GTant held a successful dance and gala night. The hall was well filled and the splendid music supplied by the "Crackajack Six* was much appreciated by the dancers. During the evening an exhibition dance was gracefully performed by Miss Smythe and partner, of Lower Hutt, who are pupils of Mr David Devitt of Wellington. The valuable Monte Carlo prizes comprising a twenty-one piece dinner set for the lady and a travelling bag foT the gent was won by Miss Vale Blue of Wellington and Mr A. E. Jones of Lower Hutt. In the past the management have worked hard to make these dances successful, and those attending next week's function are assured of an evening's enjoyment.
