CARDS AND DANCING

The Ist Lower Hutt Troop of Boy Scouts held the usual weekly card and dance evening on Saturday. The tables were all full, jthe many "guest's spending a very pleasant,and enjoyable evening. The large hall had been prettily decorated with coloured lights and streamers, while the condition of *the floor is steadily improving. The winners of the "500" tournament were Mrs. Dudding and Mr. Jones, while the special prize went to Mrs. Hughes, the dancing the winners were: Monte Carlo, Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Cavaye; while the Lucky Spot Dance was won by Miss Hosie and Mr. Johnson.

The evenings will be continued for some time, and it is hoped that many more people will avail themselves of the opportunity for spending an hour or so in congenial company.
