Plunket Society.

At the monthly meeting of the Plunket Society it was arranged that the annual fete should be held on the last Saturday in November in connection with the Baby Competition. The names of the babies so far to hand are:—Keith Wall, Park Avenue: Judith Strand, Brunswick Street; Barbara Towers, Railway Avenue; Joan Ingledon, 53 Randwick Crescent; Trevor Swift, 72 Randwick Crescent. At a specicil meeting it was decided that the committees should hold two jumble sales in aid of the competition, one in Mason Street, Mandel Block, on Saturday, October Bth, and the other at a later date in the Plunket Rooms. The first sale is on behalf of the two babies from the Mandel Block and the second for the remaining three babies.
