An unpleasant experience befel the Lower Hutt Boy Scouts last week when they were making preparations for their "Parents' Night." Arriving on the scene with tables and chairs, they found their usual route to the hall blocked with a concrete mixer and several loads of gravel, and were informed that in future they would have no road by which carts, etc., could reach their hall, as the road hitherto in use was closed to all traffic. They were given to understand that this was done by permission of the Borough Council, a kindly (?) action which resulted in a great deal of inconvenience^
