FOUNDRY DESTROYED.
New York, Jan. 12. The plant of a Canadian car foundry, where hundreds of thousands of shells, destined for Russia, were stored, was destroyed by fire after a series of explosions. No casualties have been ascertained, though fourteen are reported missing. The damage is estimated to be in the vicinity of four million dollars. (Received This Day 9.10 a.m.) AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
