A bay gelding, branded MT\ on off shoulder, will be sold by public auction at 'Levin pound 011 2nd December unless claimed by owner before that date. Mr. H. E. Keys has his usual crop of green peas coming right for Christmas. He is now taking orders for these and for Christmas liams. In our leader column to-day appears a replace advertisement from Mr. Ken. Aitken, bookseller and stationer, announcing that his Ohristcarnival is now on. During the week Mr Aitken will open his No. 2 shop in Oxford-street ( lately occupied by the Red Cross Committee) where great preparations have been made during these past few days in readiness for the usual Christmas rush. Following his usual custom Father Christmas will make Aitken s his headquarters during Christmas week when he will arrive per special motor car. v Iceberg butter-coolers are on sale at Gibson's Red Store.
