Massage From The Sea

.FROM NEW ZEALAND .S O LD I Eli S. WWSHEID UP OX W'ATERHOUSE BEACH.

We (North-Eastern Advocate, Tasmania) have received from Mr F. Potjje cf Waterliouse, a particularly interesting sheet of letter paper, containing the signatures and addresses of 19 Divisi mil Signallers of the 14th New New Zealand Reinforcement with a memo at the foot "At sea in Australian Bight, July Ist, 191 G. Weather

fair." The bottle enclosing a sheet of paper lias therefore had a remarkable journey of hundreds of miles before it was picked up by Mr Poole, at Waterliouse, oii the North 'East coast el" Tasmania, on November 17th, over 4£ months after it had been thrown overboard. It will interest the relatives and friends o! the New Zealand soldiers, as well as the men themselves, to learn that tlieir message has been found, and may wo hope that they will share the same good luck, and come through safely in the end.
