' Mr Aitken — Dear Sir, — "The manager and editor of the Horowhenua Chronicle is on the committee oi the Levin Paint-up and Clean-up Association. Will you please ask him to paint up that wretched sheet of his? It vs a disgrace to the town and all connected with it. When ia man talks about his neighbours and their faults ho should commence nearer home. The Chronicle is 'the worst paper in the Dominion and Levin people are sick of it.—Yours trulyj J AXE SHORT.
