LEVIN STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report having ! held their usual weekly sale at Le-'ii on Tuesday, when they offered a good entry oi sheep and cattle. There was a slight slackening in the demand foi dairy stock, but the upwardl tendency for all other classes of cattle was maintained, a total clearance being effected under the hammer. Sheep also sold at well up to last sales. Quotations Forward woolly wethers 425; fat shorn wethers to 33s (3d; M.S. medium hoggets 33s 2d; cull lioggets 27s lOd; light weight fat bullocks £>17; fat heifers to £11 10s; empty forward cows to £14 2s Gel; store cows with calves to £11 10s; speyed store heifers £9 16s ; 2J-year steers to £11 Is; young hulls to £5 2s 6tl.
