♦ — RITUAL COMPETITIONS AT FOXTON. Tho annual competitions in reading of the ritual were held at Foxton on the evening of Labor Day. Shannon, Levin, Otakii and Foxton were the competing lodges. A Royal Arch Chapter meeting was held and as there was much business to be transacted the competitions started) at a late hour. The judges were P.D.P. Bro. Multins (Wellington) and P.D.P. Bro. Eli Allen. Shannon was placed first, Levin second, Otaki third, and Foxton fourth. The visitors were entertained at a banquet.
