MEETINX3 AT LEVIN. A meeting of the committee of the Levin branch was held on Saturday, the 23rd inst., when there were present : Messrs . Becher (in the chair), J. Prouse, S. A. Broadbelt, L. V. Kay, IC. McDonald, P. Stewart, W. Stewart, P. E. A. Curtis, J. Da vies, G. Olsen, audi H. .J. Richards (hon. secretary) '.Messrs Prouse Broadbelt and (Richards were appointed delegates to attend a meeting in Palmerston on the 2nd November to discuss the question of stock auction commission charges in the Wellington province; it was generally considered by Saturday's meeting that the contemplated concession of one-quarter per cent was altogether inadequate.
