The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report:- -We held our usual weekly stock sale at the Millar road yards, 'Danuevirke, on the 25th inst- There was only a moderate yarding ot cattle ami sheep. Although the attendance ol the public was more satisfactory than at recent fixtures there was 110 marked improvement in the bidding am! r: ; -• ruling were, consequently, still lo«, compared with the owners' ideas of value.
