LEY IN CLUB'S ANNUAL REPORT
The annual report and, balance-sheet of the Levin Bowling Club, to be presented at the annual meeting on Tuesday next, shows that the club had a liiosi Mii.TTnslul season- socially and financially. The buiance-sheet .shows a revenue from all sources ot £ll ; t 0s :id ami an expenditure of £111 Os 3d. The membership increased] from IN to !ifi. 'The competitions for club trophies and for centre trophies, and the visits paid to ami received from other flubs wore all enjoyable. A gaslight tournament was held during the season, resulting in £'.'35 is <>d being banded to the patriotic funds. Curriv ,un Ingram won the .Shannon T'airs Tournament; Gurrie's rink won the club'* rink mortals: Pyko is the bolder of the President's 'Button, and Afelntyre and Kirk holdi the Bowen Stars. Ihiring the off-season the green has had basic fdag applied, and ban received a good top-dressing: and everything points to the incoming season being even n.ore successful than ts p"« d.ecesor.
