".M.J." AND "SERVICE OF ANY KIND."
(To the Editor). Sir,—W. J5. Gladstone, greatest commoner, once saidi "Show me a nation that forgets Wod and 1 will show you a decaying nation/' and a very old book i.*)ya "righteousness exultoth a nation, but i-iii is a reproach to Ally people." .Nor is a Bin a reproach only, but it is a nation's deadliest, eneneniy. Against that deadly foe eorae of us have been' battling, in the name of King Jesus, years 'before the war began, and it may ,be we shall be patnrilegedi to go on battling after the war is "over; and J suggest to "M.J." that this is service of the Empire— real anil lusting service. Probably "M.J." fully appreciates this kind of service to the State, only has forgotten to say no. Many do not appreciate it; some openly despise it; but it is "approved of God" and it is this that fortifies one against the frowns, or the infinitely more treacherous Fawnings of <1 Chriivt-reject-ing world.—l aim. etc., WM.
