The High Commissioner reports: — In Egypt a most successful aeroplane raid was carried out yesterday by the British against a large enemy aerodrome five miles south of El Arish and a hundred miles from our nearest aerodrome. The position of the enemy aerodrome consisting of ten large hangars was found on June 13, a strong raid of eleven machines being immediately planned. Two hangars were fired and completely destroyed while four were bombed many time#. The enemy camp and troops were also assailed. We lost two machines.
