Choice lines of lettuce are fetching ir, prices, but inferior lines are hard to quit. Carrots, "\vlnte turnips ud parsnips are keenly sought after at good prices. -Marrows and pumpkins are coming to hand in restricted quantities - and satisfactory prices .ire being realized. Swedes are in good demand. - Fruii.—Tomatoes are fairly plentUul but values have weakened. ApDles and peare are coming to bond in larger quantities and only tirst-class lines Jvring satisfactory prices. Tiemons arc in short supply.
