HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL
The Horowlienua County Council held its ordinary monthly meeting in the borough chambers on tiatu relay. There were present: The chairman (Councillor Monk), Councillois G. -v Stepenson. S. A. Uroadbelt, l l '. Retter. J. Kebbell, l"'. J. Hyder, and G. J.. Oatley. Councillors I'Veema 11 and Venn were granted! leave of absence. The council decided that in accordance with the agreement with Major Addington re the erection 01 an overhead bridge at Pahiko, south of the Otaki railway bridge, to make application to the railway authorities to proceed with the erection of the bridge after the Department has furnished the council with tlie amount of 'ihe cost and when notified that Major Addington lias lodged the amount of the cost with the council. rilio complaints of *\fr Joseph Liggms re certain roads at Tokomaru was left in the hands of the councillors for the riding and the engineer to attendi to.
