«- LEVIN STOCK SALE. Daigety and Company, Limited, re port- having held their weekly sale in the Levin yards on the sth nst, •when thev offered a, good yarding or both sheep and cattle. Although bulling for sheep was not animated, they ■suceeded in disposing of most ot the lines at pri-'efi well up xo the owners reserves. There was a teener demand for young eattle than has been experienced for some weeks, a. number oi outside buyers being present. Weaner and yiearliing steers were especially wel> competed for ias also were ■'at and forward store cows. OTAKI SALJE. At their Otaki sale, on 4th April, Daigety and Co., Ltd., reports as under:—A heavy yarding oi both sheep and cattle came forward, Out competition all through lacked animation. There was a fair enquiry for sheep at slightly reduced rates. A number o r itine.s were passed in owing to ownr-r.s reserves not being readied.
