He hais been missing since Tuesday afternoon when he got off to arrange his affairs as he was to leflve with the fifteenth reinforcements on Wednesday, hut did not parade and does not appear to have enlisted. The city council docs not stand the loss being protected by a fidelity bondi. Friday was the last day of the council's financial year and heavy snqjsMvere received in notes and the amount was not banked.
