Heatherlea Golf Ciu'b held ite annual general meeting last faight. Mr VV. Hughes (president) in the chair. There also were present Meedawes Bryson. Clark and Keedwell, Messrs W. ClarK, E. Clark, D. Wallace, H. B. Franc* and U. P. Brown. It was resolved to continue active participation in golf this season4ind that tlie club take over and liquidate the guarantors' liability now existing at the bank. The opening of the season was fixed for Wednesday week (12th April) and it was resolved that at least three of th<s» greens be kept in order this season. Mr Hughes refused nomination for this year's presidency of the club. He received a hearty vote of thanks for his services, and in acknowledging it said he would be glad to help the club in any way that ,ho could.
