GAS MANAGER'S REPORT. Phe ma-nagger of the municipal gasworks submitted the following report: .During the month matters connected with the department show a steady increase over the corresponding period of last year. It is very satisfactory to note the solidi increase in the on'iput of gas for cookfag purposes. Consumer are realizing the many conveniences to be gained by using gas cookers and gas rings for boiling. The plant is in good'working ordc* and is giving gocd carbonizing results. A good amount. of ouitside worn has been done during the month, particularly m the last three weeks.
