DISPLAYS AT SHOW. Levin was never before better advertised that it was at yesterday's A. and i'. Snow. The displays 01 merchandise made by Messrs Harvey and, Co., Ken Aitkeh and Stiles and Matheson, Ltd., played a prominent part in tlie town s advertisement. These three progressive business houses showed m their respective lines goods that could not be excelled iu any part 01 New Zealand, and, these firms deserve credit for their efforts. What <1 grand display and advertisement it would have made, if all the various retail and manufacturing trades in Levin had been represented at the show in this way. There are numbers of visitors from other parts of the dominion who attend) our show, and in what better manner could a good impression be made 011 the minds of these visitors than by exhibiting to them what the business houses of the town can do in the way of supplying them with reliable goods at reasonable prices. It would also mean a greater attraction at the show which should result in a larger credit bank balance for the society. It is desirable that there should be many more of these displays next year, and, it seems clear that any firms that go to this trouEle will be well repaid for their efforts.
