The Chronicle has received the following letter irom Air 1. Morris, ol
blaster ton:— "Dear Sir,—The Hjcst of the manhood ol Now Zealand arc at tho front or litive tried to gu and ueen rejected, while others are yoiny. Many have giwn up good positions; and mad,o great sacrifices to go. We are hoping and wishing them a sale return with honour. What are we going to do on their return, treat them liko previous wars—give them a cheer, and a glass of beer, and let them be forgotten, as a thing of the, past? "I have been aeked to organise early ii: the new year, a National Service League, to help them to regain their tormor positions, and to make them "•welcome, both in civil and social life and gain for them prefenoe in both, so that they may enter life afresh amongst us, iinder the inost favourable conditions, and i trust many "will rise to. nil the highest positions in the land.
"The proposed; league will consist of: Those who have enlisted, tlioso who have-tried and been rejected, and anyone who has soen active service for Great Britain. A registered badge will be given all members, ami it is hoped to bo the means of big comradeship springing up aiinongst _them.
