Rowland, and jeweller, Manners street, Wellington lias an advertisement in today's Chronicle concerning Christmas presents. A splendid collection of fancy goods, Christmas gift books, toys, etc., faai been got together for the Christmas season by Mr R. E. Lucas. The whole of the stock is entirely new, and;, in the toys especially, contains many quaint and cleverly made novelties, from Japan. The Books comprise tho latest favourites, and many of tho old standard work 6 that are always new, Mr Lucas will keep his" shop open to 9 o'clock each evening for tho convenience of customers.
