The most profitable line o! all was the Black Diamond line (Westport) with an expenditure of only -1D.13 per cent, which figures is nearly li per cent, less than the expenditure on the same line a year ago. Tfie results as a wJiole show that lor an additional expenditure of £24,500 the railways yielded an extra revenue of £147,000.
