Levin Swimming Club.
A general mooting of the Levin Swimming Club was held in the Borough Chambers last evening lor the purpose of organising a sports and swimming carnival for the opening day oi the swimming club's season. The pro sident (Mr B. R. Gardener) occupied the ohair. It was decided to hold the opening day on December Ist at 3 .pin Messrs A. Dompsey, AV. Walker, and W., Clark wore appointed a committer to draw up a program ot events f<>»' submission, for approval or otherwise, to a fuirther general meeting to be heln next Friday. Tlic president promised 10s. and M' - (Clarks 5s towards the purchase of trophies for the competitions. A vote of thanks was accorded t.<> them.
