Continue knitting the spiral rib as above until the sock is 18 inches long; then decrease for the toe as iollows;— Decrease by knitting 2 stitches together after tho Ist, iird, oth. and 7th ,puri stiches in tho first round, and after tho 2nd, -Ith, Oth, Btli purl stitches in the third round, working second and fourth row in the spiral rib as beforo j repeat these four rounds until there .ire 10 stitches left, then cast off and draw together.
