Massey moved Uie second reading of the Alien Enemy Teachers Bill. He briefly explained that it was designed to prevent an alien enemy fmni occupying a position in a school or university. Mr Wilford thought that tho oill should not be confined to teachers only, but should inculrle all classes. He complained of discrimination shown in interning aliens. Dr Newman supported tliis view and also complained of laxity in insisting on interning aliens. Mr Hindmarsh expresserl himself as sympathetic towards i.'rnf«?flot' Von ZptllitK.
