Ll3y oui Resident Representative.] The Shannon Belgian Relief Committee, of 'which lie v. Palmer is secretary, has sent another £50 to the Under-Secretary in Wellington. This is the third contribution, and the total amount sent to date is L'JoO. The members oi the Rowling Club had a "working-bee" last Wednesday and did much to improve the condition of the green. it was scythed, cut with tlie mower and rolled with the result that- it* appearance as very much improved. If this is followed up with periodical mowing and rolling the green should be in good order for tho opening oi the season".
