Horowhenua Boating Club;
The annual meeting oi the Horowheiiuo iJoiiUing Club was held in Williams' tea-roonis last evening. There was a gooil attendance, and Mr W. li. Mclntofch occupied the chair.
The report for the past year was read, from which it appeared that out of £,'6 worth of oars purchased by tho club last .February only one remained; tlio rest having been stolen. The bal-ance-sheet showed that the Club was in a good iinaucial position with assets totalling £"211 above liabilities.
The report and balance-sheet 'were adopted as read.
