The Tlinemoa Opera Company, which is (shortly to play a season in Wellington Opera House, will give a performance in Levin on Tuesday, 1-i.tli September, in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Itegarding the wool, sKiu and hide sale held at Wellington yesterday, Abralnun and Williams Ltd.. report: We offered a good catalogue of all classes of produce to the usual attendance of ibuyors. There A\as good competition for skins and hides, prices for the former being on a par with last sale. (Jx hides ruled at same prices, but cow hides were lower by a farthing to three-eights per lb. The last sale of crutchings was held in conjunction with the skin sale. There wa*> a fall of a good uall-penny to three-farthings per lb on till lots and anything carrying seed was unsaleable.
