At the inquest on Mrs Page, of Newcastle, her niece gave evidence that she obtained medicine which her aunt took, remarking on its nasty taste. A quarter of an hour later she died. Dr Petherbridge gave evitence that he made a mistake in preparing the medioine ,using strychnine instead of qunino hydrochloride. He called to see the patient, and when he found her dead told the Government medical officer that he (Potherbridge) nad made a mistake. Petherhridge was committed for trial. awmw.wnpn—■——
