ADDIXGTON MARKET. Cliristchurch, June 23. At Aldington live stock market there were again large entries of fat sheep and fat iambs, a fuJler yarding ot store sheep, and a rather smaller entry of fat cattle. There was a good attendance. Fat lambs were rather easier owing to the large proportion of uniinished sorts fat sheep were arm, ana" fat cattle wore a little easier. Store Sheep.—Forward 4 and (3-tootb wethers 19s to 20b, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 16s 9d, good ewe hoggets 10s (id to 12s 3d, wether hoggets 9s 6d to I2s lOd, inferior wether hoggets 6s (id to 9s, cull hoggets 3s to os 9d, aged ewes is ! to 7s, low-conditioned 4 and (3-tooth ewes 7s 3d to 10s, good 4 and 6-tooth ewes to 14b t>d. Fat Lambs.—Prime lambs 17s 6d to 22s Id, medium 14s to 17s, light and uu finished lie 6d. to 13s 6t1.~ Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers 28s to 30s 3d, prime wethers 20s to 255, others 16s to 19s 6d, .merino wethers 12s 6d to 23s 4d ,extra prime ewes to 25s 9d, prime ewes 17s 6d to 24s 6d, medium ewes 14s Gd to 17s, inferior ewes 8s 2d to 14s merino ewes 8s 3d to 9s <3d. Fat Cattle.—Extra steers to £15 5s ordinary steers £7 15s to £10, extra heifers to £11, ordinary lieifera £5 to £8, extra cows to £10 7s 6d, ordinary cows £4 15s to £8; .price of beef per 100tb,22s to 376, extra to 395. Store cattle.—A small yarding was made up of 2-year-old iieifers and drv cows, and the former sold at £3 5s to £3 log, and the latter at £1 10s to £1 15s. Dairy cows made £3 10s to £13 os Pigs.—Choppers 45s to 1355, extra heavy baconens 76s to BUs heavy baconers 60s to 725, light baconers 50s to 57s 6d; price per lb, sid to 6d. Medium stores made 18s to 246, smaller 12s to 17s, arid -weaners 2s 6d to ss.

Lambs.-—I2OO yarded, a number of which were unfinished. The space 1lotted to freezing buyers was very limited, with. the result that before many pens were sold buyers had filled requirements, and towards the end of the sale lambs were unsaleable at anything but store prices. .Extra 21s 9d, good 15s to 18s, medium 12s to 14s. Pigs.—Prices for good baconers were firm. Porkers were tne same as last week, while slips and stores were firmer Baconers 70s porkers 45s to 50s, light baconers 38s to 425, stores 19s to 225, slips 16s to 17s, suckers 7a to 9b.
