Martin, was duly celebrated at St. Joseph's Soman Catholic Churoi 011 Tuesday morning by the Rev. Fatlier Cronin. The bride is the daughj tor of Mr Delaney, -well ijnown in the ■Nelson district, and the bridj<jroom n the son of the late J. Martin, of Shannon. Tlie Church was very prettily decorated for the occasion and the Her Father Oronin performed fall nuptial mass. .Mrs Butler presided at the oigan and played the wedding marchTile bride was attired in handsome dress of white crepe de cfii'ie with a hat adorned with ostrich leathers. Ihe bridesmaids .were Miss Anna Lynch and Miss Gladys Jeffreys (of Waikanae), ncice of the bride. Mr VV. Moynihsn acted as best man. The party wore entertained at a wedding breakfast at the Club Hotel, after which Mr ard -Urs Martin left for Napier. At a public meeting held .in Shaunor 011 Monday night to consider tho formation of a co-op. store, there w»wr. a good attendance considering the boist i'ous weather.
