PRAYER FOR THE TROOPS.

.STr,—lt T7as been decided by ono or two of tlio churches ni this town to Tiold a combined prayer mooting every Friday evening in Iho Salvation ArmyBarracks. I have wondered why all the churches have not combined before fins, to meet once every week., and .ogethor pi ay for our soldiers. Surely men and women, wo can give one lioiir of our time, however precious to us, :o lielp our brave men in their sore need,, and in what way can we more powerfully give than by prayer. of all on: dear brave men, .so nobly fighting, si riving anct giving ilieir lives for ours, let us meet together, and lift up our heart-; to f! id, asking him tor succour and nelp for our soldiers, and that He will once more sent blessed peace upon the earth.
