The entry of ishoep J consisted mostly of fate tor which there was keen competition. A line of wethers, offered oji account of the Experimental aFriu .realisel 28s 9d, and a line of fat ones on behalf of the same vendors, made 255; other lines of fat* ewes made 20s 6cl, 21b Id, 21s 4d, 235, 23s 2d, 23s 7d, and for lighter sorts down to 19s kl; forward wethers 21s 2d, store wethers 19s 7d and 18s <Jd; forward ewes 14s G"cT. Cattle— Light fat cows £5 las, £u 10s, £G 12s, £G 19s and £7 8s; forward oouvs £4 10s to iio 11s (id; 2£-year steers £5 lls; 3-year steers £5 1.3s to £*S 2s; dairy cows £5 Is to £7; yearling heifers 235; yearling steers (low condition) 395. Pigs.—An entry of 120 pigs of all ftlasses was offered and met with goori competition, the following being realised.—Baconers £2 2s 6d; porkers 20s, 23s 6d, 24s Cd, 255, 275, 27s 6d, 30s, 355, 365; stores Bs, 12s, 14s.
