The following balance-sheet of the lhakara Belgian Relief Fund held at lhakara on 31st March, was presented to the committee last week:—
Keceipts.-—Cash donations £8 7s (3d, patriotic lamb (So. 1) £7. 17s 6d. tealuoniK £4 2s 3d, produce stalls £14 ss, home industries £7 7s 6d, fancy work £3 IDs 7d. live stiS-k £8 Bs. sweet stall £2 14 2d. poultry £2 lls <j"-l, meat £3 1 Is Id, competitions £3 ss, flowers 11s <;d. weight-guessing £1 2s, door £2 9s. I.ran tub L' 2 Is. auction sundries £9 17s t)d, patriotic lamb (No 2) £9 17s; total £107 12s 4d.
Expenditure.—Advertising 16s, sundry accounts 2s Od. patriotic: lamb (No. 2) 17s Gel. balance £103 16s Id.; total £107 12s -Id.
The' committee wish to thank all those who gave so freely to the fair, and also to those who purchased the goods. The list of donors is too long for publication, and the committee wishes all donors to accept the committee's thanks through this report.
