Paris, Juno 3. Official.— The British carried Chateau Hooge at the bayonet point. We gained further ground at the Labyrinth. Our division between 9th May and Ist J uuo near Carency, Ablain, Saint Nazaire and Souchez took 3100 prisoners, including 61 officers. Wβ buried 2000 German corpses. Our lose was 3200, whereof two-thirde were slightly wounded. STUBBORN FIGHTING. Petrograd, June 3. Official.—There was stubborn fighting oil 'Monday on the front between the Vistula and Przeinysl. The Russians had somewhat important successes on the left of the Lower San, taking several villages with the bayonet. We captured the base southward of Kalni'koure on the right bank of the San, taking 1200 prisoners, including 22 officers. -'' ' N West of the village of Kurdocw-any the iighting continues on the front Travilany-Galiski. On Monday the litissians captured at the bayonet point the latter village, which was strongly fortified. On Monday the Russians piogressed on the Bzura river, near Witkowiee, Brohow, Sochaczenv. On the river Swico the Russians continue to ; be successful. Prisoners taken here between Friday and Saturday already number 16,422 men and 288 officer. STILL ADVANCING. Rbine, June 3. • Official.—Bad weather is hampering operations. We occupied Sior-o Goadicaria Valley and are now advancing on Condina from the head of Lallalana Valley. On the Carnia frontier we harrassed by long distance fire the enemy's attempt to build a- bridge beyond the frontier.
