The annual meeting of householders for the election of a School Committee for the ensuing year takes placo on May 3. U.A.O.D. -1 The Druids held thoir usual fortnightly gathering in their lodge room on Thursday night, A.D. Bro. Wiggins presiding. Considering the war and the cold night there was a fairly numerous attendance. Amongst the correspondence was it letter from Bro. Stephens, who is on war duty in Egypt. It stated that all the members oftlie contingent who had left .Shannon were well. Tt was resolved that the secretary write a reply. A request from the Belgian Relief Fund Sports Committee for the loan of certain articles was granted subject to the trustees' approval. It was resolwod that the hall should be charged for at schedule rates, and all letting* be reported to the next meeting of the Lodge, in order that the feos might be remitted in the eaee of Patriotic meetings.
