Snapdragon 3. Scratched : Don Francisco. Snapdragon led until three furlongs from the post and tlion was passed by Balboa, Castalia just beating Snapdragon for second place. Time 3.7 2-5. THOMPSON HANDICAP. i Ladoga ... 1 Chortle 2 Hoy 3 Scratched: Downham. Red Book and Cliudic. From a beautiful start Pavlova drew away. In the straight La doga wormed through a bundled field .just headed by Chortle. Just before the judge's bos was reached Ladoga shot to the front winning by half a length; a length between second and third. Time 1.39 4-5.
