A THRILLING STORY

T then bring up my machine to a height- of 1000 metres, and resume my lofty position. T pursue the (second Aviatik. which was fiying over the zone to 'lie north of M. For about oO .seconds the Aviatik keeps up the fight with shots from an automatic rifle, out it is soon touched and plunges down while making a tiwn. I charge it in a vortical volplane causing my niachinegu«n to (ire continually, and the Aviatik touched on the wing.s and fail, disappears into space. Surrounded by hostile .shells of al] calibres.
