Nearly 60 new names have been added to the AVanganui roll. Te Horo now has a membership of 35, and the Levin branch maintains its normal strength, although a large number of former members have gone aivay from the district. Ohakune reports that a man named Roekel. a school teacher at Valle.v-road (near TTaetihi). died from exhaustion while on a mountaineering trip on Uuape.hu. No further details are vet available.
