[By our Resident Representative.] Mr Norman Campbell lias bought iili the machinery of tlic late Shannon Sawmill Company. The many friends of Mr A. Saiui<lei> v. ill be pleased to hear That he is recovering from the effects of his recent accident. Some short time ago Mr Saunders was employed in the ercc•tion of a staging for the loading of flax. The staging gave way and Mr Saunders fell several teet. He >va* struck by a falling pile and badly bruised and shaken. Mr Saunders was taken home and confined to hi> bed for a few days. Ml RANT! I GITS" CLUB. The M 'ranui Gun Club held a shoot on Mr "Woods' ground* on Good Fridav. There was a good attendance both of members of the Club and the general public including several ladies. Mrs "Warrington provided afternoon tea for many of the visitors. The following are the results :— "Warrington Cup. Hdp Tl lvilminsler 17 12 Sherman 14 Retired G linn 14 10 C. Olsen 12 12 P. For the Douglas Cup only "Warrington and Kilminster started and Warrington won. Warrington Clock. Hdp. Tl. lvilininster I,'j H) C OUcn 11 9 Bard 1;3 8 P.
