Shann n Notes.

[By our Resident Representative.]

A movement is on foot to have a day's sports in Shannon similar to that held in Moutoa—and nith the same object, namely the Belgian Relief Fund. A meeting will be held to consider the subject in a few days.

1 have seen one of the tobacco boxes which were sent as Christmas boxes to the vsoldieas at the front. It is a prettily embossed brass box and contains a cigarette lighter. These boxes" were scut to the troops by Princess Mary. The one I saw was sent to Mrs Bohama by her Husband, who is a soldier at Iho front.
