From information received by the Mayor. Mr B. R. Gardener, it is probable that the Hon H. t). Bell Minister of Internal Affairs, will visit Levin next week. The exact date of the proposed visit has not been fixed yet. The London Times is reprinting interesting paragraphs from its issues of 1 (X) years ago. The following is a sample from Times, dated February 3rd, 1815: —-Early on the morning of Monday last between Dunstable and Redburn, the guard of the Manchester mail suffered a corpse to be put inside where there was only a, single "passenger. a youth of about 15 years of age, who being asleep ftt tho tune, was not aware of the situation of his fellow traveller till he fell upon him by the jolting of the coach. The surprise and alarm of the young man may be easily conceived. Such flagrant conduct in the coachman and guard merits the most marked reprobation.
