Stephenson and Gunning (skip) and the local club by Ollivor, Anderson. Bills and Ferguson (skip). The visitors established a substantial lead from the start, and were eleven in advance at the 12th head, and 1 three on the TBth. Otaki scored three in two heads and made the game even on the 20tli. Shannon was lying well, but a lucky shot from the Otaki skip dislodged the bowl, and gave him a win by the naj-row margin of one point, 22—21.
