Levin Stock Sales.
There wa« about the usual entry o( stuck at the saleyards yesterday. The sales wore- quiet; there is still a oig difference between the values set <>u stock by the buyers and sellers. In the store classes the demand for skeep was slow and some lots were passed in. Fat wethers (from the Experimental Farm) brough up to 225. Fat ci>.w« brought £7 to £7 10s. A few pens ot store cows were passed at prices from JU-i 2s 6"d to £4 18s. The demand for young stock was slack. The pig market showed an improved demand for fats, but store were draaging.
