BOWLING AND TENNIS. On the bowling green and tennis court there was a goodly muster of players on Wednesday afternoon. The championship medal competitions w.-ie continued. Mensman and I'oach (10) defeated Caiman and Butt (18). Gardiner and Fargher (23) defeated MclCcnzie ;twl Stephenson (19) Friendly games were played between Venn and Shankland (20) and Clayton and Gunning (16); also Hook and Gallaiul (2(H v. Maxwell and Gibson (10). On the tennis courts there were many friendly contests. There was an interesting game between Hennessv and Bovis, the former being the winner. Mrs Lanrvig and Miss Tremewan played Misses Hughes and Crawley and each won a set. Mi's Doidge and Bovis heat Mrs Pickett and Hook. Mrs l!n;ich and Miss Tremewan provided afternoon tea.
