Dalgety and Compajiy Limited have received tho following cablegram from their London Office under date of stb instant.—"Wool sales closed firm. As compared with last sales closing rates greasy merinos were 10 to 15 per cent higher except short and wasty whi ;h was 5 pel' cent dearer. Scoured merinos were 15 to 20 per' cent higher except short and faulty, which showed a rise of 10 per cent. Bulky scoured stained pieces and locks were 25 per cent higher. Greasy fine crossbred advanced 5 to 10 per cent; medium and coarse 10 per cent; and scoured crossbrerls 5 per cent. Slipes were par to 5 per cent higher.
